Pay: Starting at $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Seasonal | Summer Camp Hours (Daytime Shifts)

Brevard County Parks & Recreation is hiring energetic, responsible, and enthusiastic Camp Counselors to help create a safe, engaging, and memorable summer camp experience for children in our community!

If you enjoy working with kids and love recreational activities, this is a great entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and engage children in daily camp activities

  • Assist with recreational games, sports, arts & crafts, and group activities

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers

  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured environment

  • Support camp leaders with daily operations

  • Perform related duties as required

  • Must be available for the

  • Must be available for the entire assignment (May 18th – August 8th)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be 16 years of age or older

  • Minimum experience in childcare, babysitting, volunteering, or similar roles

  • Entry-level knowledge of recreational activities

  • Reliable transportation

  • Willingness to submit to a drug screening and background check

  • Ability to work outdoors in Florida summer conditions
