Minimum qualifications - Education/Experience:
BA/BS with at least 2 years of professional experience or a combination of related education and work experience to equal six years; work within an office setting and/or a position that involves comparing, verifying and reconciling data to help the department achieve overall objectives.
Skills: Strong interpersonal skills -written and verbal; Sensitive people management skills: a high level of emotional intelligence; excellent interpersonal skills; and the ability to work well under pressure with competing deadlines.
Abilities: ability to interact and work effectively with a broad group of employees. Ability to work at both a strategic and operational level. Ability to assess potential problems and make sound judgment. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, provide excellent customer service, problem-solve, adapt to change quickly, and manage time and multiple expectations. A demonstrated aptitude for meeting deadlines in a dynamic, academic environment.
Physical requirements: Ability to work in and move about an office setting. The ability to use a computer and other office equipment. The ability to commute to offsite locations to attend meetings. The ability to read printed materials and a computer screen. The ability to communicate in person and over the telephone. About the Department
Established in 1947, the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine is Minnesota's only veterinary college. Fully accredited, the college has graduated nearly 4,000 veterinarians and hundreds of scientists. The college is also home to the , the , the and .
The college embraces the "One Health" concept, which aims to transform new knowledge into better health for animals, people, and the environment. The college also plays an important role in the health of the community by assuring food safety, conducting biomedical research, preventing zoonotic diseases, and enhancing our physical and psychological well-being through the care of companion animals and the protection of Minnesota’s wildlife natural resources.

Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: $31.25 - $40.86 ; depending on education/qualifications/experience
