As an Assistant Executive Kitchen Supervisor at Cooper's Hawk, you'll play a pivotal role in leading a dynamic, high-volume scratch kitchen where culinary innovation meets operational excellence. How You Will Excel
Show Up Ready: Be prepared and focused to start strong.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including managing Kitchen Managers and Team Members across various stations.
- Review schedules and manage assigned operational systems effectively.
- Utilize tools like POS systems, scheduling software, and inventory systems for organization.
- Conduct line checks, draft prep lists, and manage supply ordering and inventory levels.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to food safety standards.
- Lead kitchen training sessions, food preparation execution, and new menu introductions.
Own What You See: Take initiative and responsibility for kitchen operations.
- Engage in the hiring process for hourly kitchen Team Members.
- Conduct side-by-side training with Team Members to promote development and performance.
- Ensure adherence to food preparation standards and consistency.
- Assist with weekly inventory management to optimize financial outcomes.
Stay in Sync: Foster strong communication and teamwork to ensure seamless service.
- Facilitate communication between kitchen and front-of-house operations for smooth service flow.
- Lead community meetings and mentor Managers to align on goals.
- Collaborate with the Executive Kitchen Manager and General Manager to drive performance.
- Execute special events, including themed Wine Club dinners monthly.

What You Will Bring
- 2-3 years of management experience in a full-service restaurant setting, preferably in a scratch kitchen.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Demonstrated financial understanding and acumen.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Preferred certifications include ServSafe and compliance with local/state regulations.
- Must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, up to 10 hours per shift.
- Willing to work 50-60 hours per week.
- Flexible availability for shifts, including weekends and holidays.
