Role Overview : As an Account Executive at Fat Fish Media, you will act as the primary client relationship owner, partnering closely with our leadership (CEO & CMO) and our internal creative and production teams. In this role, you will develop and nurture strategic client relationships, oversee solution design collaboration, and ensure our work aligns with client objectives and brand standards. You will help shape client engagements from discovery through delivery, ensuring that Fat Fish Medias execution meets or exceeds expectations.Key Responsibilities : Client Relationship OwnershipServe as the principal contact for a portfolio of key clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term value.Lead discovery conversations with clients to understand their goals, brand, audience, and event objectives.Partner with the CEO & CMO to develop strategic account plans, identify growth opportunities, and advise clients on scaled-impact experiential solutions.Maintain high-touch client engagement through regular check-ins, strategic updates, and proactive value-added ideas.Solution Design & Internal CollaborationWork with the creative team, and production team, to develop event solutions that align with client needs and Fat Fish Medias capabilities.Translate client objectives into internal briefs and scopes of work, ensuring smooth hand-off to execution teams.Participate in creative brainstorming and concept reviews, ensuring alignment of creative direction with client brand and event goals.Monitor project scope, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure feasibility and operational alignment.Proposal & Budget OversightSupport the team in proposal development, articulating value, establishing scope, pricing, and deliverables.Collaborate with production team to align budget expectations with client goals and ensure profitable delivery of work.Track account performance, client ROI, margin, and utilization, providing feedback on account health and opportunities for improvement.Market Insight & Strategy FeedbackStay informed about trends in live events, hybrid experiences, brand activations, and technology, bringing relevant insights into client discussions and internal strategy.Provide feedback to leadership about market shifts, competitive landscapes, and potential service expansion.Represent Fat Fish Media at industry events, conferences, and client engagements to grow networks and elevate the companys profile.Qualifications : Minimum 3 years of experience in account management, client services, or business development within events, experiential marketing, production, or a related services industry.Proven success owning client relationships from strategy through delivery and delivering value beyond transactional engagements.Strong understanding or ability to learn live and hybrid event production, including staging, lighting, AV, scenic, and experiential activation.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage at senior client levels and translate business goals into creative and operational reality.Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple moving parts.Ability to collaborate across departments and champion client needs while maintaining internal alignment.Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience.Willingness to travel as required for client meetings, pre-event venue visits, and event oversight.What We Offer : Competitive base compensation plus performance incentives tied to account growth and client satisfaction.Opportunity to work on high-profile, high-impact events and activations, influencing the growth trajectory of a rapidly expanding company.Collaborative, creative culture where you work with a tight-knit team focused on excellence and innovation.Career progression opportunities into senior account leadership, client strategy, or partner development roles.Benefits include health, vision, dental, PTO, 401K, and the chance to help build something meaningful.
