Job Description
As a Staff Accountant you will be involved in the Company's day to day operations and month-end process. You will work under the direction of the Controller and Accounts Receivable Supervisor to perform accounts receivable duties as well as month-end duties.
Basic Responsibilities
- Perform accounts receivable clerk duties
- Daily cash reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries based on prepared supporting documentation
- Audit interface and bank reconciliations
- Fixed assets & Right-of-use asset reconciliations
- Various reconciliations for month-end
- Assist Controller with a variety of tasks as needed
Skills & Qualifications
- Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with creating formulas
- Organizational, problem solving and multi-tasking skills
- Knowledge of accounting practices and financial accounting standards
- Minimum 1 year work experience in accounting a plus
- Exposure to motor vehicle finance industry a plus
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

🎯 What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1+ years of accounting experience
- Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software (ERP experience is a bonus)
- Detail-oriented mindset with a knack for spotting discrepancies
- Team player who communicates clearly and works well under deadlines
- A proactive problem-solver who loves finding better ways to do things
