Overview

A growing, multi-entity organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to support core accounting operations and strengthen internal financial processes. This role will play an integral part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting compliance efforts, and contributing to improvements in reporting and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities evolve and collaboration across departments is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee critical components of the monthly close process, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Maintain and enhance internal accounting procedures to ensure consistency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance
• Prepare supporting documentation and schedules for external audits and tax filings
• Partner with internal stakeholders to improve reporting quality and streamline accounting workflows
• Support indirect tax compliance, including reconciliation of related general ledger accounts
• Review financial work product for completeness and accuracy
• Assist in evaluating and strengthening internal controls
• Participate in system improvements and cross-functional projects aimed at increasing efficiency
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting team members as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Experience supporting audits and regulatory compliance initiatives
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
