• Set up, lead, oversee and implement procedures to ensure client contractual requirementsare met regarding billing and accounts receivable. Perform client contract analysis withproject team to determine the job billing specifications for deadlines, reimbursableexpenses, agreements for insurance, tax, and fee billings along with approved billing ratesfor staff.
• Regularly audit client billing and project ledger, ensure both are meeting with contractrequirements, GAAP, and company policy.
• Manage accounts payable for subcontractor invoice processing, ensure all compliancedocumentation, contracts, change orders, lien waivers, and insurance requirements are inplace prior to scheduling payments.
• Manage project financial closeout, ensure final contract amount and closeoutdocumentation requirements have been met as agreed to by subcontractors prior to issuingfinal payments.
• Process accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger postings.
• Process weekly accounts payable check runs.
• Perform departmental responsibilities such as 401k processing, AMEX processing, payrollprocessing, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate accounting documents and records.
• Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related business degree required, with 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• General knowledge of accounting principles to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Must be highly organized, detail oriented, maintain accuracy and self-check work.
• Must be self-starter, adaptable and flexible to operate indepently while working in a complex and fast paced environment.
• Must be accountable to research problems and resolve to completion, escalate issues promptly, learn and apply knowledge quickly, and meet deadlines.
• Must follow established procedures and execute directions to completion without need of follow up by management.
• Must have good work ethic and integrity, dependable, cooperative, and motivated to take on new responsibilities.
• Must have strong proficiency with financial systems applications and MS Office, specifically Excel.
