Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Management Accounts function, overseeing the full month-end close to deliver accurate, timely reporting
• Produce performance and variance analysis, offering strategic insights to support data-driven decision-making
• Manage the consolidation of the UK P&L for Group reporting
• Oversee balance sheet reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SOX and internal controls
• Design, enhance and standardise processes, driving efficiency through automation and continuous improvement
• Line manage and mentor three Senior Management Accountants and coordinate the wider team
• Support annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Support statutory year-end audits, internal controls and SOX activities.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential :

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with extensive experience leading a management accounts team
• Proven leadership capability, with experience guiding teams through organisational change
• Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency with Power Platform tools (including M code and Power BI)
• Excellent ERP knowledge
• Previous US GAAP and SOX experience, including ASC 606

Desirable :

• Experience in public sector or outsourced business services
• Familiarity with SAP ByDesign
• Experience working within a matrix organisation.

Travel Requirements

Occasional travel to UK locations should be expected.
