Description
The Staff Accountant supports the organization’s financial operations by performing general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, month‑end close activities, and financial reporting. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across all accounting processes while contributing to continuous improvement within the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial statements.
- Support preparation of consolidated P&L and balance sheet reports.
- Manage fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, and depreciation schedules.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze financial results, variances, and trends to support management decision‑making.
- Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for internal and external reporting.
- Assist with audit requests by providing accurate and organized financial data.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
