Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the company’s accounts receivable ledger
-
Send out invoices and follow up with clients to ensure timely payment
-
Resolve billing discrepancies or issues with clients
-
Monitor outstanding balances and proactively manage collections to reduce delinquency
-
Process credit card payments and other forms of payment
-
Gather and evaluate credit data for customers to determine credit risk
-
Establish and maintain credit limits for new and existing customers
-
Prepare and submit reports on the status of outstanding receivables
-
Daily bank reconciliation
-
Accounts payable invoice processing and payments
-
Monthly reconciliation of company credit cards
-
Reconciliation of vendor statements
-
Work with compliance manager on sales tax exemptions and returns
-
Take part in inventory counts and reconciliation
-
Monthly journal entries
-
Prepare monthly account reconciliations
-
Assist in other month-end closing and accounting tasks as requested
Background Required:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in Senior Accountant role
-
A high level of professionalism
-
Excellent communication and customer service skills
-
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
-
Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
-
The ability to work in office Monday-Friday
