What You'll Do

In this role, you'll support core accounting and financial reporting functions while gaining exposure to a wide range of processes across the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing a strong working knowledge of company accounting systems and processes

• Preparing and maintaining accounting process documentation, while identifying opportunities for improvement

• Assisting with overhead budgets and budget-to-actual analysis

• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing workpapers, financial statements, and related schedules/filings

• Supporting accounting operations related to cash, accounts receivable, job costing, and accounts payable

• Preparing special reports and assisting with ad-hoc projects as needed

• Performing additional assignments as directed by the Tax Director and Controllers

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience

• CPA preferred (or actively pursuing)

• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local financial reporting requirements, including pension and profit-sharing plans

• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, deadline-driven environment
