Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $90, to $, per year.
Job Responsibilities:
-
Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations and correct errors to ensure accurate financial results.
-
Analyze balance sheet activity each month and document clear explanations for changes across reporting periods.
-
Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures and lead process improvement efforts.
-
Partner with operations, payables, and other teams to ensure proper coding and timely financial statements.
-
Support audits, compliance testing, and special projects while keeping documentation complete and organized.
Requirements:
-
A Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
-
At least 3+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role in a fast paced environment.
-
Strong knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement preparation.
-
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup functions, and comfort working with large data sets.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work with limited daily direction.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills with careful attention to detail and accuracy.

Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with finance and operations partners.

Ability to handle high volumes of transactions and respond quickly to auditor and leadership requests.
