OR Support Associate at Kimel Park Surgical Center:

Provides essential non-clinical support to the operating room, including positioning, equipment, maintaining a clean organized surgical environment. This role assists the surgical team by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are ready and the operating room is maintained for efficient and safe procedures.

• Key responsibilities: Patient care in respect to positioning patient for OR procedures. A strong understanding of sterile technique, OR room procedures, and patient safety protocols is crucial.
• Room Setup: Preparing the OR by arranging supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Environmental Maintenance: Keeping OR clean and organized to ensure a sterile and efficient environment.
• Supply Management: Managing equipment, and other necessary sterile supplies within the OR and OR Core.
• Team support: Providing overall support to the surgical team, contributing to a collaborative efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Current CPR or BLS
• Demonstrates necessary clinical competency
