The Role We Want You For

An Accounting Clerk is responsible for processing various invoices related to Clayco's projects. This position will also help process weekly employee expense reports in Concur, assist with reporting reimbursements to payroll for field employees, etc. This role requires good communication skills within entire organization, accounting department and outside companies. Manage time effectively to get work completed on schedule and ability to prioritize workload.

The Specifics of the Role

Accounts Payable Invoices:

• Process Legal invoices
• Process Warranty/Closed Job invoices
• Process monthly utility bills for jobs
• Process monthly rent payments for out of town jobs (shared with other accounting clerk)
• Process Cort invoices for the apartments above (shared with other accounting clerk)

DataServ Batches:

• Manage integration of account payable invoices from DataServ to JD
• Follow up on any errors

Expense Reports (shared with other accounting clerk):

• Process weekly employee expense reports in Concur, auditing for proper receipts and backup
• Enter field expense report cost into JD Edwards
• Report field employees reimbursement amounts to payroll
• Get appropriate approvals for all expense reports
• File completed field expense reports

Requirements

• Construction experience preferred but not required
• The ability to function effectively in a highly entrepreneurial environment, both as a team player and independently
• Ability to work in a fast paced setting, with weekly deadlines
• Ability to solve problems
• Must be very detail oriented and able to organize and prioritize time
