Position Summary

LHH is partnering with a growing construction company based in Escondido to hire a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to support their day-to-day financial operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, has hands-on accounting experience, and is comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

The position will handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory tracking, and general administrative support, working closely with ownership, project managers, and field staff.

Key Accounting Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable, including vendor invoices, coding, approvals, and timely payments
• Manage accounts receivable, including customer invoicing, payment application, and follow-up on outstanding balances
• Assist with inventory tracking, including materials, tools, and job-related supplies
• Maintain accurate records in the accounting system
• Maintain organized and accurate financial files (digital and paper)

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Prior experience in construction, contracting, or a related industry preferred
• Familiarity with Sage accounting software preferred
• Basic understanding of inventory tracking or materials management
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and basic office software
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with an early start schedule

Schedule:

• MondayThursday: 6:30 AM 3:00 PM
• Friday: 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
