Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year A bit about us: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our fast-paced and high-energy Finance team. This position is for those who are passionate about numbers, have an eye for detail, and possess a strong understanding of financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including monthly reporting, general ledger, financials, AR, and AP. This role is integral to our company's success, as the Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial data and the efficiency of our financial operations. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes. 2. Manage the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations, and report preparation. 3. Participate in the ongoing development and implementation of the company's financial systems and processes. 4. Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. 5. Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting. 6. Implement a robust contracts management and financial management/ reporting system; ensure that the contract billing and collection schedule is adhered to and that financial data and cash flow are steady and support operational requirements. 7. Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices; improve the finance department’s overall policy and procedure manual. 8. Effectively communicate and present the critical financial matters to the company's management team. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position. 3. Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. 4. Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems. 5. Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations. 6. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections. 7. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. 8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 9.
