You will be in charge of a 76 convenience store. Duties include to hire, supervise, and train Station/store personnel and provide quality customer service. Oversee entire Station/store operations including checkout, merchandising, layout, product inventory, bookkeeping, and maintenance. Strong emphasis on food execution/safety programs, control cash and merchandise shrinkage. Responsible for enforcing all company policies and procedures. Cash handling and daily paperwork. COGs and gross profit margins.

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Qualifications Required:

• Previous Manager Trainee or Assistant Manager
• Previous Retail Management
• Detail-oriented, retail is DETAIL
• Customer service-oriented
• Work with deadlines
• Communicate effectively with customers, management, associates, and vendors
• Lift, carry, push, pull up to 60lbs
• Occasionally bend, kneel, squat and reaching over shoulder
• Work in cooler and freezer
• Requires use of extension ladder
• Demonstrates energy, willingness, leadership and enthusiasm to encourage and direct crew to provide best customer service
• Demonstrates proper food storage procedures and the use of food storage safety guidelines with regard to FIFO and dating of all food products received by vendors.
• Demonstrates the ability to prepare and place orders according to expected sales goals
• Demonstrates ability to manage receiving orders and temperature control as to what product condition arrives
• Ability to identify theft
• Demonstrates ability to calculate costs
• Demonstrates ability to perform and delegate weekly cleaning duties
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass a background check (no burglary or theft).
• Must pass alcohol training and Underground Storage Tank Operator training.
• Must be willing to work weekends and evening shifts.
