You will evaluate, analyze, and issue US GAAP and/or IFRS accounting, as well as SEC reporting position papers for publicly traded and private companies, including private companies seeking public registration. Forms include S-1 S-3, and S-4 for public registration opportunities. You'll develop strategies to solve complex business problems using new ways of thinking, and devise solutions to support your clients' needs through using the latest tools and methods. You'll develop lasting relationships with client personnel and further these relationships through quality product delivery. You'll foster a network within the business community and serve as an ambassador of Protiviti in the market. Deliverables include the creation of technical accounting position papers accounting and SEC reporting guidance.Financial reporting, financial close, consolidations, financial statement preparationProcess improvement related to order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, hire to retire and record-to-report process areasImplementation of accounting pronouncement transitions (e.g. lease accounting, revenue recognition, CECL etc.), reconciliation and restatementsPublic company readiness efforts and SEC reporting requirementsIdentifying key client business issues, determining client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis and developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagementShared services and global business services experience in design and implementationEvaluating, summarizing, organizing, and interpreting data.Establishing and cultivating business relationships and a professional network, including with senior executives.Successfully pursuing business development opportunities and identifying and implementing strategies to obtain new work or clientele.Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting/Finance)7+ years relevant work experience mix in consulting, financial reporting, technical accounting, internal audit, attestation / assuranceProficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access.CPA license strongly preferredOur Hybrid WorkplaceProtiviti practices a hybrid model, which is a combination of working in person with a purpose and working remotely.
