Advertised Job Summary:This position supports a research study evaluating an early emotion regulation intervention for children with autism. Responsibilities include preparing recruitment and training materials, coordinating participant recruitment and scheduling, assisting with child assessments, supporting training and fidelity monitoring for early intervention providers, and managing study data, reports, and research findings.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience:- Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 1 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field prior to the position start date.
- Prior experience assisting with research in a lab on a volunteer or paid basis.
- Experience conducting research or direct experience working with infants or young children with developmental delay and/or neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Familiarity with the IDEA Part C Early Intervention System.
- Strong communication skills.
- This individual must be able to communicate effectively with faculty and graduate students, undergraduate students, and early intervention professionals, as well as with families of children with neurodevelopmental disorders.
Conduct assessments and collect data. Administer developmental and behavioral assessments in a standardized manner to infants and young children at an elevated likelihood of autism spectrum disorder and typical developing children.
