The Analyst, Accounts Payable supports business and staff units across the U.S., Canada, and globally by processing invoices, travel and expense reports, vendor setups/changes, and administering company card programs. The role manages BetterNet requests ensures timely and accurate payments, and partners with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and support processes.
Responsibilities
- Process and audit invoices, expense reports, and payment requests to ensure accurate coding, proper approvals, and compliance with company policy and regulatory requirements, enabling timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Administration of all company card programs which include: P-Card, travel card and Business Travel Accounts. Maintains cardholder and card account data. Provides customer service to existing users. Conducts monthly upload of transactional data into ERP system to enable payments for P-Cards. Monitors and Audits P-Card cardholder compliance with the P-Card Policy
- Research problem invoices that cannot be paid for various reasons and work with various business units to resolve those discrepancies in a timely manner. Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders and resolution of BetterNet requests.
- Liaise with business and staff unit employees and build mutually beneficial relationships. Work together with them to identify areas for process and procedural improvements and work through issues.
- Complies with and administer Data Privacy policies, principles and procedures. Maintains customer and employee confidence and protects operations by ensuring the minimal, secure, approved, responsible, and confidential handling of data, as well as breach notification.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience with Accounts Payable processes and procedures; familiar with IRS T&E guidelines Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office Suite. Working knowledge of SAP Concur is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service attitude and acumen Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills Excellent organizational skills
Minimum Qualifications: Associate's Degree (AA) in Accounting or Management or relevant experience Required or Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Accounting or Management or relevant experience Preferred 4+ years in accounts payable or related field Required
In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $61,000 - $91,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
