divh2Job Title/h2pResponsible for processing and maintenance of the general ledger, cash receipts, cash disbursements, bank and general ledger reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and client communication with assigned companies./ph3Major Duties And Tasks/h3ulliCommunicate clearly and frequently with staff and management of assigned companies./liliUnderstand the nature of the business of each assigned company./liliAdvise company staff on appropriate ways to handle transactions./liliMonitor off-site input into Great Plains (e.g. accounts payable or accounts receivable)./liliPrepare, analyze, and review entries into the general ledger./liliPrepare and book all monthly closing entries./liliPrepare account reconciliations on a monthly basis./liliReconcile all bank and investment statements monthly./liliTrack investment activities monthly./liliPrepare and distribute monthly financial statements./liliOversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll entries related to assigned companies./liliPrepare and file property tax reports, sales tax reports, quarterly tax filings, and other reports or forms as necessary./liliWork directly with outside auditors on annual audit, including preparing all required information and providing assistance to auditors as required./liliKeep the Controller informed of activities./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ul/div
