We’re looking for Activity Aide to join our team!

Position : Activity Aide - Every other weekend

We are looking for individuals committed to enriching the lives of our residents through purposeful engagement. The Activity Aide will be responsible for organizing and leading person-centered activity programs, including one-on-one interactions, small group sessions, and larger group events. This role also involves accurately documenting resident participation and the effectiveness of activities in the medical record.

Job functions will include :

Assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing activities to meet the physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and emotional needs of our residents

Create environments where moments of joy, independence, and wellness are the focus each day

Help design programs to encourage socialization

Provide entertainment, relaxation, and fulfillment and improve daily living skills

Prepare and maintain reports on resident’s progress

Ensure activity areas are safe and well-maintained

Generate enthusiasm to encourage and motivate participation

Must be available to work every other weekend

Ideal candidates will have :

Ability to be imaginative, creative, and innovative

• Musical / arts crafts experience preferred
