Please Note : This is a Utah-based hybrid position which will require some regular in-office days each week. Additionally, employment with BambooHR is contingent on passing both a background and credit check.

Essential Job Duties

As a Principal ML / Data Scientist, you will be a strategic technical leader, architecting and developing cutting-edge ML and advanced analytics solutions to drive innovation across BambooHR. You'll partner closely with Business Intelligence Engineers, Analysts, and stakeholders to translate business needs into predictive and prescriptive data-driven decisions, fundamentally improving our BI practices and shaping our data culture.

You will :

• Architect novel ML model and system designs that set the standard for BI within BambooHR.
• Develop advanced analytical methodologies that become core components of our data and BI platform.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in business intelligence and data analytics, inclusive of AI use in BI. Evaluate and recommend new tools and platforms to enhance the team's capabilities and efficiency over time.
• Forge strategic partnerships across the organization to ensure technical vision aligns with business goals.
• Collaborate deeply with BI / Analytics Engineers and Data Analysts to build practical ML and advanced analytical models / tools that enhance operational and go-to-market predictive and prescriptive capabilities.
• Proactively position our team for future success by creating adaptable frameworks that respond to evolving business priorities.
• Establish decision-making frameworks that become standard practice for data and BI engineering teams.
