Desk Adjusters CAT Support

Sparks Group has partnered with a leading insurance services organization to identify experienced Desk Adjusters CAT Support to assist with high-volume property claims following catastrophe (CAT) events in Texas. This remote opportunity is ideal for licensed adjusters who thrive in fast-paced environments, can manage large claim volumes with accuracy and empathy, and are available to mobilize quickly during catastrophic weather events. Assignments are activated based on CAT events and vary in duration depending on the severity of the incident.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high-volume caseload of catastrophe-related residential property claims from first notice of loss through final settlement.
  • Review claim documentation, policy coverage, and damage estimates to ensure accurate claim handling and timely resolution.
  • Communicate professionally and empathetically with policyholders, contractors, field adjusters, and other stakeholders throughout the claims process.
  • Coordinate with field adjusters and third-party vendors to obtain inspections, estimates, and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain detailed claim documentation within claims management systems while ensuring compliance with client guidelines and Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) regulations.
  • Meet established productivity, quality, and turnaround time (TAT) metrics in a fast-paced environment.
  • Complete all required training, compliance updates, and catastrophe deployment readiness requirements.
  • Adapt to changing claim volumes and work extended or flexible hours during active CAT events as needed.

Qualifications/Background Profile

  • Active Texas All-Lines Adjuster License required.
  • 12+ years of property claims adjusting experience, including desk adjusting.
  • Catastrophe (CAT) claims handling experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience reviewing property coverage, damage estimates, and claim documentation.
  • Working knowledge of claims management systems and estimating software such as Xactimate.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage a high-volume workload.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment with minimal supervision.
