What youll do here: Manage the claims process from receiving the claim through approval and paymentHandle all customer with the highest level of professionalism providing world-class customer serviceProvide guidance to customer to facilitate understanding of recommended treatments and associated coveragesMonitor, track, and report on claims submittedInteract with veterinary clinics and customers to ensure timely responses to questions and claim resolutionMeet or exceed all partner and Companion Protect Agency, LLC standards for timeliness, accuracy, and claims volumeDocument processes and procedures and provide recommendations for improved system processes when applicableEvaluate issues outside the scope of claims responsibility, but necessary to the process of payment, directing the issues to the appropriate department with follow-up to ensure resolution of the issue resulting in claim paymentAll other duties as assigned What youll bring to the team: Insurance Adjuster License (strongly preferred) 3+ years of claims handling experience (pet, auto, property, or similar) Strong communication skills across phone, email, and chat Comfortable learning new systems and technology Veterinary clinic or pet insurance experience (strongly preferred) Vet tech certification or animal care background (strongly preferred)\ Where youll work: This is a hybrid opportunity in Leawood, KS (Tue-Thu in office) Why you might love working here: Here at Companion Protect, we offer associate perks that go beyond your standard benefits and compensation packages.
