Your Role Awaits.
As a Director of Governance and Administration Support, you will be a subject matter expert in retirement plan administration and compliance. Your expertise will guide our sales and service consultants in navigating the complexities of ERISA compliance, plan design, mergers and acquisitions, and more.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide consultative support to MMA Retirement colleagues on plan compliance for ERISA and Non-ERISA plans, collaborating with legal and compliance teams.
Deliver expert guidance on plan design and compliance during private equity and M&A transactions for institutional clients.
Create and present webinars on retirement plan compliance for internal teams and external plan sponsors.
Develop training materials to enhance field colleagues' knowledge in qualified plan administration and compliance.
Draft external communication resources for field representatives to utilize with clients and prospects.
Support sales and projects associated with the Retirement Plan Administration Consulting Center of Excellence.
Stay informed of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to facilitate impactful discussions with colleagues.
Who We Are Looking For :
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and dedicated to delivering exceptional consulting and training services. A deep understanding of retirement plans and strong analytical skills are essential for interpreting complex data and crafting effective solutions.
Qualifications Include :
15+ years of experience in defined contribution consulting, including expertise in plan design, compliance testing, and regulatory corrections.
In-depth knowledge of 401(k), 403(b), 457(b), governmental, and nonqualified plans.
Thorough understanding of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations, including correction programs.
Experience reviewing plan documentation and preparing employee benefit materials.
Proven skills in problem-solving and client issue resolution.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with a strong executive presence.
Bachelor's Degree required.
Preferred Certifications :
ASPPA designations such as CPC, QPA, QKC, and / or ERPA are strongly preferred.

Salary Information :
The base salary for this role ranges from $89,500 to $166,900. Compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and other factors. This position may also be eligible for performance-based incentives.
