Preferred Qualifications Position Summary This position provides complex administrative and secretarial support for the Institute of Government’s faculty and staff working onsite at Fort Benning, Georgia. Roles and responsibilities include assisting the Fort Benning Defense Community Resilience Program staff with on and off installation work associated with the installation and surrounding community project management. This role is responsible for coordinating day-to-day administrative operations, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and supporting general office functions. The position requires the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage communications effectively across various platforms. Additional responsibilities include organizing and maintaining documentation, tracking reports, developing agendas, supporting meeting logistics, research, note-taking, and drafting materials such as memos, summaries, and mass distribution emails. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to maintain accurate and complex records, with strong attention to detail and organization skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
