Job description

Admissions Representative:

Are you a high-energy, goal-driven professional who thrives in a performance-based environment and enjoys helping others take the next step toward their future?

The demand for skilled healthcare professionals has never been greater—and the shortage continues to grow. At Stanbridge University, we are committed to preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals who will make a meaningful impact in their communities. As an Admissions Representative, you will play a critical role in that mission by guiding prospective students from initial inquiry through enrollment.

This is a KPI-driven role where success is measured by activity, engagement, and enrollment outcomes, with clear performance expectations aligned to individual, team, and institutional goals. It is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment and take ownership of their work while delivering a high-quality, student-centered experience.

Essential Functions:

Student Engagement & Admissions Guidance:

  • This role owns the full lifecycle of prospective student engagement, from initial inquiry through enrollment.
  • Respond to phone, web, and in-person inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Build rapport with prospective students and identify their educational and career goals
  • Schedule and conduct admissions interviews, providing clear, accurate, and complete information about programs and the admissions process
  • Guide prospective students through the decision-making and enrollment process
  • Present program content, length, academic requirements, and career outcomes in alignment with university standards

Evaluation & Process Management:

  • Evaluate applicants’ educational background and career objectives to determine appropriate program fit
  • Administer and communicate admissions assessment results, including coordinating retake opportunities as needed
  • Ensure all admissions activities comply with institutional policies and accrediting, state, and federal regulations
  • Provide approved student outcomes and institutional data to prospective students

Operations & Collaboration:

  • Accurately track and manage all activity within CRM systems, including leads, calls, appointments, interviews, and enrollments
  • Coordinate with Financial Aid, Student Services, and Academic departments to support the admissions and onboarding process
  • Utilize all available tools and systems, including databases, phone systems, and internal platforms
  • Provide feedback to the Director of Admissions regarding trends, challenges, and process improvements
  • Attend departmental meetings, graduation ceremonies, and university events as required

Professional Standards & Service:

  • Foster a professional and respectful environment aligned with the university’s mission and values
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to all prospective students and university stakeholders
  • Maintain performance standards as measured by activity, outcomes, and quality of interactions
  • Continue progress toward individual, departmental, and institutional goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Performance Expectations:

  • Consistently meet or exceed defined KPIs, including outreach activity, scheduled interviews, follow-ups, and enrollments
  • Manage a structured pipeline of prospective students from inquiry through enrollment
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of all admissions activity
  • Deliver a high-quality, student-centered admissions experience aligned with university standards
  • Demonstrate accountability for individual performance and contribution to team and campus enrollment goals

Who Thrives in This Role:

  • Professionals who can manage high volumes of outreach and follow-up while maintaining quality and compliance
  • Strong communicators who can quickly build trust and guide meaningful conversations
  • Organized professionals who can manage multiple leads and priorities simultaneously
  • Goal-oriented individuals who take accountability for outcomes
  • Professionals motivated by helping others achieve educational and career success
  • Team players who collaborate effectively across departments
  • Individuals who thrive in a KPI-driven environment and take ownership of meeting activity and enrollment expectations
  • Resilient professionals who can maintain consistency, persistence, and a positive approach in a performance-driven environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • 2+ years of experience in admissions, higher education, or a customer-facing role
  • Experience working in a goal-driven or performance-based environment preferred
  • Knowledge of higher education regulations and compliance standards is a plus
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a culturally diverse environment
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and standard office technology

Compensation:

  • $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
  • Compensation is based on education, experience, and internal equity considerations
  • This is a performance-driven role with clearly defined KPIs and expectations; compensation is hourly and not commission-based, providing stability while reinforcing consistent performance and contribution to team outcomes

Conditions of Employment:

  • A job-related assessment may be required during the interview process
  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and be physically present in the office (unless otherwise noted)
  • Employment verification will be conducted to validate work experience per accreditation standards
  • Offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check
  • Official transcripts are required prior to hire. Degrees earned outside the United States must be evaluated by a recognized credential evaluation service
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and maintain such authorization without sponsorship
