About the Role:
Join BECAUSE WE CARE II INC as a Qualified Mental Health Counselor and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals in Hampton Roads Community. We are dedicated to providing compassionate and effective mental health services to our community, and we are looking for passionate professionals to join our team.



Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions.
  • Educate clients and families about mental health and wellness strategies.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  • Advocate for clients' needs and connect them with community resources.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
  • Active state Board of Counseling QMHP license .
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Compassionate demeanor and a strong commitment to client care.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred.
