Engineering Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled Engineering Project Manager to develop and implement detailed project plans, ensuring the successful completion of engineering requests and providing valuable technical resources to our production departments. This role involves managing a range of projects from small-scale upgrades to significant heavy equipment enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Design mechanical systems and components for new installations, upgrades, and modifications to existing equipment.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to determine project viability.
• Provide technical support and expertise in mechanical engineering to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment.
• Perform calculations, simulations, and analyses to validate design concepts and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Select appropriate materials, equipment, and technologies for project implementation.
• Coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process engineers, electrical engineers, and construction personnel, to achieve project goals.
• Evaluate and select vendors and contractors for project execution.
• Prepare technical specifications, request for proposals (RFPs), and bid evaluations.
• Oversee contractor work to ensure compliance with project requirements and safety standards.
• Ensure all projects adhere to quality control standards and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven project management skills.
• Strong mechanical and project engineering capabilities.
• Experience in heavy industry and process documentation.
• Proven experience in managing capital projects from conception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and materials used in a Process Manufacturing Facility.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to mechanical engineering and project management.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Clarksville, TN.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
