Schedule:

• M-F 7:00am-4:00pm Pay Rate: Up to $70.08/hr.

• Santa Clara, CA Position Type: Full-Time Benefits: This position is eligible for WGNSTAR’s full benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k).

Additional benefits are listed at the end of this posting. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide 24x7 on-call emergency response and support to maintain building systems and infrastructure integrity and availability Monitor and maintain all building and mission critical facilities equipment Perform daily/weekly/monthly walk-throughs supporting data center and office operations Perform preventive maintenance on all building equipment to ensure efficient operation Ensure Chief Engineer and/or Assistant Chief Engineer receive timely verbal and written operating reports about building systems and preventative maintenance Encourage, train, and evaluate Apprentice's technical and behavioral skills; set professional example Requirements: At least one (1) year experience supporting mission critical environments Current electrical Journeyman's license Experience with High Voltage Hands-on electrical or mechanical skill and competence in area of non-expertise (e.g., electrical expertise with mechanical competence, or vice versa) Ability to operate and perform routine and emergency service on state-of-the-art critical systems Knowledge and experience using basic computer applications Physical Effort/Activities: May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds.
