Sales Development Manager

This role is based at ATP Headquarters in Jacksonville Beach, FL. Working from one of ATP's larger training centers in Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, North Carolina, or Utah is a possible option with occasional travel to ATP Headquarters.

ATP is the nation's largest flight school, providing students with the most efficient path to successful airline pilot careers. For over 40 years, ATP has been the leader in professional flight training and supplying pilots to regional and major airlines. ATP's Airline Career Pilot Program offers a fast, proven path to a career at the airlines, with graduates flying for every major U.S. airline. If this role is for you, you already know about ATP.

You will lead initiatives to optimize lead conversion, strengthen sales systems, and elevate team performance across the Admissions, Marketing, and Training Center network. You will analyze data, implement scalable best practices, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure ATP continues to deliver an exceptional experience to prospective students while achieving enrollment goals. To establish a strong foundation, you should expect to initially spend about 6 months performing outbound sales.

  • Create standardized reporting to measure key performance indicators (KPIs), including conversion rates, response times, and program sales performance
  • Conduct regular reviews of lead management, CRM utilization, and call center effectiveness
  • Collaborate with Training Support and Finance teams to ensure seamless transitions from prospective student to enrolled student
  • Lead training sessions, workshops, and performance reviews to strengthen sales skills and consistency across locations
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic growth initiatives
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and accountability focused on student success and company growth.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales leadership, business development, or process improvement (education or flight school experience preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and team-building abilities
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Demonstrated success implementing systems or processes that improved efficiency or conversion performance
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, reporting tools, and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)

Work Location

Working from one of ATP's larger training centers in Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, North Carolina, or Utah is a possible option with occasional travel to ATP Headquarters.
