Hybrid 3 Days Onsite Eligible Locations: New York, NY | Washington, D.C. | Boston, MA Salary: $100,000 - $132,000 Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

About the Opportunity

HireNow Staffing is partnering with a prestigious Am Law 50 firm to identify a seasoned Travel Manager who can lead a sophisticated, high-volume travel program that supports attorneys and business professionals across global offices. This role is ideal for a polished professional who can blend strategic oversight with hands-on service, ensuring every traveler receives timely, accurate, and exceptional support.

Working closely with the Director of Travel, this individual will shape the firms travel operations, optimize policies and vendor relationships, and ensure a consistent, high-quality experience across all domestic and international travel activity.

This hybrid role requires candidates based in NYC, Washington D.C., or Boston only.

Key Responsibilities

Traveler Support & Issue Management

  • Serve as the primary resource for all travel-related questions, escalations, itinerary challenges, and urgent requests.
  • Resolve service issues with discretion, speed, and professionalism while maintaining an exceptional traveler experience.

Program & Policy Execution

  • Partner with the Director of Travel to roll out firmwide travel initiatives, operational improvements, and policy refinements.
  • Oversee daily operations of the managed travel program, ensuring compliance, consistency, and cost-effectiveness.

Training & Education

  • Develop and lead training sessions for travel arrangers and frequent travelers, including policy interpretation, travel tool usage, and profile creation.
  • Communicate updates on travel procedures, vendor programs, and new system features.

Vendor & Technology Oversight

  • Support implementation and optimization of global travel solutions, booking tools, and technology platforms.
  • Build relationships with airline, hotel, and ground transportation partners to negotiate benefits, resolve issues, and elevate service.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track travel spend, compliance metrics, forecasting, and travel patterns.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for savings, process improvements, and vendor program enhancements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate across administrative, business services, events, and finance teams to support firmwide operational needs.
  • Assist with special projects, major firm events, and time-sensitive travel requirements including occasional after-hours support.

Required Proficiencies

To secure an interview, candidates must clearly demonstrate:

  • Proven experience leading a managed corporate travel program within a global, professional services organization (law firm experience highly preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of the global travel industry, including airline alliances, hotel programs, and organizations such as GBTA and ACTE.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) with demonstrated experience in reporting, forecasting, and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with administrative and facilities functions in complex environments.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications (Highly Valued for This Role)

  • Bachelors degree in business, hospitality, operations, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate travel management within a law firm or highly structured professional services setting.
  • Strong background managing vendors, travel policies, budget analysis, and high-volume traveler needs.
  • Experience navigating sensitive information and working with senior-level leaders requiring discretion and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated track record managing multiple competing priorities in deadline-driven environments.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

This position gives you the chance to influence a globally recognized firms travel program balancing strategy with traveler support at a high level. Youll work with senior partners, global business leaders, and cross-functional departments to strengthen processes, enhance efficiencies, and evolve a program that spans continents.

If youre a high-performing travel professional who brings expertise, polish, and a passion for operational excellence, this is a rare opportunity to step into a role with visibility, impact, and long-term growth potential.
