Reports to: Branch Manager or Account Manager
Job Summary:
This important position is under the direct supervision of the Account Manager or Branch Manager, primarily responsible for protecting and securing assets, personnel, customers, and visitors at assigned sites. As a Security Professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of the environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guard the interests of clients, ensuring the safety of employees and guests.
- Observe and report signs of crime or disorder; investigate disturbances as necessary.
- Prepare daily reports in accordance with training and submit them to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct patrols as required by post orders.
- Manage and control access to the property as directed by post orders.
- Notify the proper authorities in emergencies, as detailed in post orders.
- Report any violations of company policy, as well as local and federal laws, as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Willingness to stand for long hours.
- Availability for extended hours and shifts as needed.
- Additional responsibilities may be required based on client needs and specific post assignments.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to maintain a safe and secure environment for all stakeholders.
- Skill in tactfully addressing and interacting with the public.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Graduate or GED.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Clean criminal background.
- Ability to obtain state-required licensing.
- Capable of fulfilling all job duties associated with this position.
