L+R is looking for an Operations : Delivery Manager to join its team and lead with this same understanding. As an Operations : Delivery Manager, you will work with a diverse group of leaders and entrepreneurs to support their business growth through the implementation and development of strategic and human-centered technology.

You will be a trusted partner to L+Rs customers, working with them and L+R leadership to identify pain-points and communicate a vision for the product. You will leverage your program management, technical, organizational, and strategic expertise to understand the clients business and user goals, translate them into an executable plan, and lead successful implementation of that plan.

Responsibilities

  • Create client and project-specific strategies that pull in and utilize the strengths of L+Rs core and contract teams.
  • Create strong relationships with clients built on clear communication, trust, and delivering value.
  • Develop effective implementation processes and tactics that streamline best delivery practices across the company and projects.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting automations that increase the teams efficiency and visibility across all projects.

Collaboration

  • Interface with and influence a diverse range of multi-disciplinary teams both internally and externally.
  • Build project shaping / feature requirement documents alongside designers and software engineers.
  • Work with the Business Development team to flag opportunities to expand L+Rs client offering and services, and educate the client on future project opportunities and recommendations.
  • Serve as thought partner to the team for special projects and contractor maintenance.

    • Contributions

  • End-to-end ownership of a diverse range of projects.
  • Act as the clients voice within L+Rs internal meetings, using your strong understanding of their business and user goals to accurately guide your input.
  • Deliver design and technical feedback during project iterations, leveraging your past experience as a builder and creator.
  • Team engagement and initiatives, acting as a sounding board and celebrating the teams wins.

    • The Project Manager can be based out of one of L+Rs offices in NYC or Barcelona, with opportunities to work remotely full or part-time.

    Requirements

  • Experience with lateral management.
  • PMP, Prince2, PgMP, Sage or SCRUM / Agile certified.
  • Experience building and shipping different categories of products.
  • Ability to speak developer and translate various technical implications to non-technical clients.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of graphic design and an eye for whether or not a deliverable is in line with clients request.
  • Foundational knowledge of engineering systems and design styles.
  • The ability to think at a high level regarding product strategy and vision.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Excitement about proactively contributing value to this organization.
  • Passion for important issues that you want to be a part of.
  • A sense of humor, and complex knowledge of at least one obscure topic.
  • Details driven, you can catch the finest details before sending over final deliverables to a client.
  • Pro-active, you are able to delegate when necessary and take the wheel when projects get off track.

  • Salary range for this position : 60-85k.
