What you’ll be doing

  • Operational Leadership & Efficiency: Drive continuous improvement in the efficiency, security, and reliability of all physical infrastructure. Identify data streams and areas that can be used with AI tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for infrastructure health and to improve performance.

  • Budget and Financial Management: Ensure adherence to the infrastructure capital and operating budget (CapEx/OpEx). Forecast future financial needs, manage spend, and contribute detailed financial modeling for executive review.

  • Project Delivery: Oversee end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects across the portfolio, from site feasibility through construction and operational launch.

  • Standards Development: Establish and maintain efficient design standards for site design, layouts, and operational functionality across charging sites and service depots.

  • Stakeholder Alignment: Drive decision making, transparency, and accountability across stakeholders in design, permitting, utilities, construction, and launch readiness to meet market timelines.

  • Construction Management: Oversee construction execution and contractor performance, ensuring delivery against schedule, budget, quality, and safety expectations.

  • Coordination and Escalation: Drive internal and external decision making to ensure projects stay on schedule and delivery partners are able to execute. Manage and mitigate risks across permitting, zoning, and municipal approvals. Ensure utility engagement results in power timelines that support project schedules. Manage schedules to provide a high degree of confidence on the first day of business for launch of operations.

  • Portfolio Management: Manage multi-site deployment across markets, tracking progress and mitigating delivery risks.

  • Vendor Management: Nurture relationships and strategic partnerships with engineers, consultants, and contractors across project delivery to provide scalable long term engagement and positive outcomes.

  • Cross-Functional Solution Development: Identify interim and future infrastructure needs to match expansion plans and work with internal and external stakeholders to develop deployable solutions.

What you will need for this position

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical EV charging, renewables, data center, or other physical infrastructure development role.

  • Bachelor Degree in STEM or other quantitative field, such as Economics

  • Must be able to run charging analyses, review architectural/civil drawings, and electrical diagrams. Familiarity with data analysis and Python is a strong plus!

  • Demonstrable experience in large-scale infrastructure project management and delivering multi-site deployments.

  • Strong financial acumen, including experience with budget creation, forecasting, CapEx/OpEx management, and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis.

  • Mastery of project management and project scheduling concepts, including Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule development and implementation.

  • Familiarity with foundational concepts of energy markets, utility processes, and power infrastructure development.

  • Exceptional executive communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical and financial information clearly to senior leadership.

  • Proven ability to work autonomously, take ownership, and operate strategically in a decentralized organization.

  • PE or EIT preferred.

  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.

  • Applicants must be authorized to work and reside in the United States.

About the Team

Our team is analytical, fast-moving, and solutions-driven. We combine data, teamwork, and innovation to deliver world-class autonomous vehicle operations. If you’re a hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about improving systems, people, and performance, you’ll fit right in.
