Job description

Prime Air Area Manager

Prime Air is seeking a Prime Air Area Manager, where you will serve as a front-line leader responsible for executing daily operations at a Prime Air Drone Delivery Station. You will lead and support teams across flight operations, ground handling, and fulfillment to ensure safe, efficient, and customer-focused delivery performance. In this role, you will drive key operational metrics including safety, quality, and delivery efficiency; monitor real-time operations to remove barriers and maintain system uptime; and partner with Operations Managers and cross-functional teams to execute staffing and operational plans. You will ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, identify and implement process improvements, develop and coach associates, and provide clear escalation and communication during active operations. In this role, you will directly manage a team of hourly associates, overseeing scheduling, performance management, and day-to-day coaching and development. In partnership with HR, you will address associate relations matters including attendance, performance concerns, and corrective action as needed, while also maintaining accurate timekeeping, headcount tracking, and staffing records for your team. This role may require travel, up to 25% of the time.
