Dedicated to excellence in medicine, Animal Emergency Hospital and Urgent Care is seeking qualified individuals to fill a Animal Care Assistant position. AEHUC has been a part of the Raleigh community for more than thirty years! As a part of the AEHUC team, you will be introduced to one of the most established 24 hour emergency hospitals in the Raleigh area; and be exposed to new advancements in medical equipment and technology! We are seeking highly skilled individuals with experience in veterinary medicine for positions as a veterinary assistant. Candidates must possess the following :

• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.

• Ability to deliver an outstanding experience to clients and their pets.

• Ability to learn and utilize a variety of computer software programs.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Ability to work holidays, extended, and weekend shifts on a rotating schedule.
• Experience with or willingness to work with a variety of animals.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Passion for working with people and pets.

Skills Needed :

Staff is willing to train candidates in skills if they have the right attitude.
