Employment Application for Senior Buyer

GigaParts is currently seeking a highly motivated, experienced Buyer who is a detailed data analyzer, success driven, people person to join our Procurement Team!

As a Senior Buyer, your responsibilities will include :

  • Locate consumer product vendors for new retail products, equipment, and supplies. Determine product availability, terms of sales and profit margin capabilities to ensure the success of the revenue growth within assigned and new brands.
  • Ensure brands are represented clearly, consistently, and effectively so that our consumers can make the best purchasing decisions for themselves.
  • Deep data analysis for sales and marketplace data, monitoring market trends, coordinating with a marketing team, generating forecasts for portfolio of brands, maintaining prices, and reordering inventory.
  • Support relationship and activities with corporate brands within our company’s portfolio of management.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Prior Consumer Product purchasing a plus!
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Desire for a long-term career with a growing company that rewards initiative, responsibility, dedication, and performance.
  • A team player, willing to help others and do what it takes to get the job done!

    • Other Qualifications :

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in marketing and inventory control.
  • Experience in product / project management.
  • High school or GED, college degree a plus.
  • Intangibles include (1) self-starter who holds him / herself accountable, (2) resourceful problem-solver, and (3) focused on listening, learning, influencing, executing, and winning.
