Job Description Responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for advanced Homeowner's Claims. Determines coverage, damages and otherwise adjusts and negotiates claims within limit of authority. Responsible for creating or auditing a comprehensive estimate of damages for homeowners first party claims leading to the proper disposition. Looking for a candidate in the Northern San Diego area Key Responsibilities Evaluates settlement alternatives by reviewing regulatory compliance and fair claims practices; makes decisions on best option Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the most complex of files across multiple lines Possesses a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company Possesses strong estimating fundamentals in order to create or audit estimates of damages on 1st party homeowners' losses with complexity Builds mastered relationships with both internal and external customers across multiple lines Education 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred) Experience 2 or more years of experience (Preferred) Supervisory Responsibilities This job does not have supervisory duties. Education & Experience (in lieu) In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. #LI-SH1 Compensation Base compensation offered for this role is $53,040-$99,091 [annually] and is based on experience and qualifications.
