Title : Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Job Duties :
Support the implementation of safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
Conduct routine preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues with extrusion molding machinery.
Perform repairs and replacement of faulty components to keep machines operating efficiently.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Document work requests, work orders, and machinery failures for machines and equipment.
Utilize electrical measuring instruments to solve electrical issues.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED.
3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge and understanding of process controls, industrial electrical wiring, and 3-phase systems up to 480 volts.
Knowledge of AC and DC motors and controls.
Familiarity with PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Basic computer skills for documentation and CMMS systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to effectively read, write, and communicate in English.
