The Automation Engineer  is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining automated workflows and solutions within the Microsoft 365 environment. This role leverages Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365 tools to streamline business processes, improve data visibility, and enhance collaboration. The Developer will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, translate them into technical solutions, and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting. This role will also involve the development of data tracking to monitor project and organizational impact, including tracking funding and impacts based on project schedule, overtime, leave, and new requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Workflow Automation : Design, develop, and implement automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline repetitive tasks such as approvals, reminders, report generation, and notifications. Specific examples include automating overtime requests and time-off requests.
• Microsoft 365 Integration : Integrate various Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, Power BI, etc.) to create seamless information flows and collaborative solutions.
• SharePoint Development : Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint sites, lists, and libraries to support business processes. A one-stop shop knowledge base that is organized logically, with clear navigation, broken out by functional areas.
• Power BI Reporting : Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to visualize data and provide actionable insights.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting : Maintain and troubleshoot existing automation scripts and flows, ensuring their stability and optimal performance.
• Requirements Gathering : Collaborate with project leads to gather and document business requirements for new automation projects and enhancements.
• Solution Design : Translate business requirements into technical designs, considering scalability and maintainability.
• Testing and Documentation : Thoroughly test developed solutions and create comprehensive documentation for end-users and support personnel.
• Data Tracking and Reporting : Track funding and impacts based on project schedule, overtime, leave, new requirements, etc. and reporting on this data.
• Stay Current : Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft 365 features, updates, and best practices.
• Training and Support : Provide training and support to end-users on new and existing Microsoft 365 solutions.

This position is required to have and maintain a Secret US DoD security clearance.

Compensation : $41 - $53 an hour.

Compensation for positions at Centurum vary depending on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, location, responsibilities, skill set, and level of experience.
