Mechatronics & Robotics Technician

Location: Nampa. ID
Position Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $23.70–$25.70/hour (based on experience)

Are you mechanically inclined and looking to build a career in a fast-growing technical field? Join our team as a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician and gain hands-on experience working with advanced automation systems in a state-of-the-art fulfillment and distribution center.

No expert-level experience required—we provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you succeed.

What You'll Do

As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will help maintain and support the equipment that keeps operations running smoothly. Working alongside experienced technicians, you'll develop valuable skills in maintenance, troubleshooting, automation, and robotics.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing preventative maintenance on conveyor and automated systems

  • Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment issues

  • Assisting with repairs and equipment improvements

  • Learning to work with motors, sensors, controls, and automation technology

  • Following all safety procedures and operational guidelines

  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in maintenance, mechanical, electrical, technical, or related fields

    • Trade school training, military experience, internships, or entry-level maintenance experience are welcome

  • Comfortable using hand and power tools

  • Basic mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting knowledge

  • Strong willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

  • Experience in a warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing, or industrial environment

  • Interest in automation, robotics, or advanced technology systems

  • Familiarity with conveyors, motors, sensors, or industrial equipment

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 12 hours)

  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds

  • Ability to bend, reach, climb ladders, and work in an active industrial environment
