This individual will serve as a key technical resource, working directly with customers to ensure equipment is operating efficiently while also building long-term relationships. This role is a mix of hands-on field work and light programming, with a strong focus on preventative maintenance, service, and customer training. The position offers autonomy and the opportunity to take ownership of a specialized automation segment within the business. Key Responsibilities Travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, and repair automation and robotic systems Perform basic to intermediate programming, software updates, and system modifications Support preventative maintenance programs and ongoing service needs Train customers on equipment usage and best practices Communicate clearly with customers on repairs, timelines, and recommendations Recommend process improvements to enhance system performance Collaborate with internal teams and support broader automation initiatives Maintain service documentation, parts ordering, and reporting Qualifications 2+ years of experience in automated welding, electronics, robotics, or related field Exposure to robotic systems, manufacturing environments, or industrial equipment Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems Strong communication skills and customer-facing mindset Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel in MN and WI Interested in hearing more?
