Job Overview

The mechanic will work directly under the supervision of a Leadperson and / or Supervisor in a shop or field environment.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Primary focus on a safe work environment and employing safe work practices on a consistent basis.
• Assessing equipment repair needs and repair processes.
• Equipment component rebuilds and gear box rebuilds.
• Processing parts (inspect, clean, deem reusable or scrap).
• Working in a diverse team environment.
• Assessing equipment repair needs and repair processes.
• Laying out and performing repairs with accuracy and quality without supervision.
• Troubleshooting, maintaining and performing repairs to assigned tooling.
• Ability to understand scope of job and direct multiple people in completion of job.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly and engineering prints.
• Ability to drive process and / or design improvements.
• Work with QA / QC to develop best practices.

Forklift Task Trained

Understands and complies with all established Cardinal Rules. Working safely, promoting the safety of coworkers.
