Automotive Sales Specialist

Our Chapman Volkswagen Scottsdale location in Scottsdale, AZ is currently seeking an Automotive Sales Specialist who will represent the Volkswagen brand while guiding customers through a seamless vehicle buying experience. In this role, you will help customers select the right new or pre-owned vehicle, demonstrate features and benefits, and support them through the entire purchase and delivery process. This is a great opportunity for a motivated, customer-focused professional looking to build a long-term career in automotive sales.

Responsibilities

Green and engage customers to understand their needs, preferences, and budget
Present and demonstrate new and pre-owned Volkswagen vehicles, highlighting features and technology
Conduct test drives and explain warranties, maintenance programs, and ownership benefits
Guide customers through pricing, negotiations, and closing the sale with Sales Management support
Complete sales and financing paperwork accurately and efficiently
Stay current on Volkswagen inventory, features, promotions, and financing programs
Deliver sold vehicles and assist with technology setup and vehicle orientation
Follow up with customers to maintain relationships and generate repeat and referral business
Respond to internet, phone, and showroom leads and schedule appointments
Log all customer interactions and sales activity in the CRM system

Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience in customer service, retail sales, or a related field required
Automotive sales experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build rapport, handle objections, and close sales effectively
Self-motivated, confident, and results-driven
Comfortable working with computers, CRM systems, and new technology
Strong work ethic with a customer-first mindset
Valid Arizona driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment screening
