POSITION OVERVIEW Under general supervision, the Level 1 Service Technician performs highly skilled automotive repair, maintenance, diagnostics, and Pennsylvania State Safety and Emissions Inspections. This is a full-time hourly position with real earning potential, a strong benefits package, and a clear path for advancement.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR • High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum four (4) years of hands-on experience as a mechanic or service technician in an automotive, fleet, trucking, school bus, or heavy equipment environment — or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Active Pennsylvania State Inspection and Emissions Certification
(Required)
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License
(Required)
• ASE Certification
(Strong Plus)
• Proficiency in diagnostics, electrical systems, engine repair, and/or lube tech operations
• Experience with shop management software and digital vehicle inspections (DVIs)
• Ability to operate and properly use tools, gauges, diagnostic equipment, instruments, and service machines required for the role
• Strong automotive background with flat-rate experience preferred
• Candidate must supply their own tools necessary for the duties of the position
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills
• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and stay current with service procedures and specifications
• Familiarity and compliance with all shop safety rules and procedures
• Must be physically capable of performing all duties of the position

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform all work specified on repair orders with efficiency, accuracy, and in accordance with shop standards
• Conduct PA State Safety and Emissions Inspections
• Diagnose vehicle problems using electronic diagnostic equipment and special service tools
• Perform thorough and accurate preventive maintenance (PM) inspections, including lubrication, fluid services, brake adjustments, and tire rotations
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain all major vehicle systems — engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, fuel, and exhaust
• Perform 4 -Wheel Computerized Wheel alignment and test drive vehicle to assure a quality alignment was performed.
• Perform complex repairs and field tests as required
• Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and confirm proper operation
• Document all repairs, parts, and labor on work orders completely and accurately
• Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding repair status, additional findings, and time estimates for customers
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation and shop environment at all times
• Perform other related duties as assigned or directed

SCHEDULE • Day Shift | Monday – Friday
• Occasional Saturday (as needed)
• Minimum 40 hours per week guaranteed
• Overtime available as needed

COMPENSATION |
$35.00+ per hour — commensurate with experience and certifications
