Serving airports and other aviation clients for more than 70 years across all seven continents, our aviation consulting practice includes both planning and development services that span activation planning, airfield and airspace, business and finance, commercial development, environmental, ground transportation, master planning and strategy, terminal planning and design.

Job Summary

At Landrum & Brown (L&B), we help airports make some of the most important strategic, financial, and business decisions in the aviation industry. From major capital investment programs and airline negotiations to long-term financial planning and funding strategies, our work influences the future of airports across North America and around the world.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

We are seeking an Aviation Financial Consultant to join our growing Airport Financial & Business Consulting team. This is an opportunity for a financially minded professional who enjoys solving complex problems, building sophisticated analytical models, and working directly with airport and aviation industry leaders on high-impact projects.

If you're looking for a role where your analysis influences billion-dollar infrastructure decisions, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

What You'll Do

As an Aviation Financial Consultant, you'll work closely with senior consultants and industry experts to develop innovative financial solutions for airports and aviation organizations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining sophisticated financial models tailored to the unique needs of airport and aviation clients.
  • Analyzing airport revenues, expenses, capital programs, funding strategies, and business opportunities.
  • Conducting aviation industry research to support client projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Developing financial analyses that support critical business and investment decisions.
  • Drafting valuation reports and presentations to management.
  • Maintaining and enhancing proprietary databases and analytical tools used across the firm.
  • Preparing reports, memoranda, presentations, and client deliverables that clearly communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Supporting business development, proposal preparation, and client engagement efforts.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of aviation, planning, engineering, and business professionals.

What Makes You Successful

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical financial skills with curiosity, initiative, and a passion for aviation.

You will bring:

  • 2+ years of experience developing financial models and performing quantitative analysis.
  • Experience within the airport, aviation, or airline industry.
  • Excellent financial modeling skills, particularly within Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to evaluate financial and operational strategies.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience creating dashboards and using data visualization tools is an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex findings clearly and concisely.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under demanding timelines.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or another quantitative discipline.

Why Landrum & Brown?

For more than 75 years, Landrum & Brown has been one of the most respected names in aviation consulting. Our professionals advise airports, airlines, investors, and governments on some of the industry's most complex and consequential challenges.

Joining L&B means:

  • Working on projects that shape the future of airports and aviation infrastructure.
  • Collaborating with recognized industry leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Exposure to executive-level decision making and strategic planning.
  • Opportunities for professional growth, increased responsibility, and career advancement.
  • Being part of a team that values innovation, analytical excellence, and client success.

If you're excited by the intersection of aviation, finance, strategy, and infrastructure, we'd love to hear from you.
