PrideStaff is seeking a skilled and motivated Screen Press Operatorfor a premier printing and manufacturing company. This role requires strong technical aptitude, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot finishing equipment.
The ideal candidate is a self-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is deeply committed to quality, safety, and teamwork. This critical role will support a growing manufacturing division as they continue to expand and diversify their business.
Job Responsibilities**Press Operation: **Independently set up and operate a semi-automatic graphic (non-textile) screen print press.
**Troubleshooting & Quality Control: **Resolve printing problems; adjust mechanical operations of the press to maintain optimal quality, registration, color, and production speed.
**Materials Handling: **Effectively utilize inks, print-related chemicals, and typical plastic print substrates.
**Color Management: **Judge and maintain strict color consistency throughout production runs.
**Curing Process: **Ensure proper operation of ultra-violet (UV) curing equipment to guarantee correct ink curing.
**Process Improvement: **Identify opportunities for operational improvements, detect potential areas of risk, and share information with key stakeholders to maximize results.
**Asset Maintenance: **Efficiently utilize company resources and properly maintain equipment to maximize return on investment.
**Safety & Compliance: **Strictly follow workplace safety measures to safeguard all employees and visitors; promptly report workplace risks, incidents, injuries, and near-misses.
**Professional Relations: **Establish and maintain positive business relationships with employees, vendors, business partners, and regulatory entities.
**Confidentiality: **Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all sensitive and proprietary business information.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
General familiarity with the printing industry.
**Technical Skills: **Strong PC proficiency and willingness to learn new technical skills.
**Core Competencies: **Excellent attention to detail, uncompromising integrity, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
**Work Style: **Self-driven with the ability to work independently when needed, while also collaborating effectively within a team structure.

2+ years of experience operating a graphic screen printing press.
Experience with measuring and testing equipment such as calipers, densitometers, and/or spectrophotometers.
