Job Description
Responsible for selling, organizing and monitoring banquet functions. Coordinate and finalize events with guests, ensuring client satisfaction. Perform all administrative duties for the department.
- Up sell in all areas when possible when finalizing groups
- Handle assigned groups while maximizing space
- Assist Clients with menu selection, set up requirements, audio visual, and telecom needs
- Distribute Banquet Event Orders in a timely manner
- Plan and distribute convention service resume for sales groups
- Coordinate functions with DMC, Service Contractors and Outside vendors
- Coordinate food functions with kitchen and stewarding
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all equipment
- Maintain pars of equipment and supplies
- Attend daily BEO meetings to review upcoming functions if necessary
- Resolve guest concerns quickly and efficiently
- Greet guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Give site inspections
- Follow service standard guidelines
- Process deposits and payments, log and trace in Delphi, ensure final payments and approvals are received on all functions
- Filing
- Daily reporting for department, Weekly reporting and Weekly BEO distributions
- Verify all on site contacts, review final guarantees
- Balance banquet checks into systems
- Maintain group files
